Quadrangles - Cubes
This Project is based on and inspired by excessive use of quadrangle shapes in human-built structures. The collection explores different representation and manifestations of these shapes. Interestingly this form is very rare in nature and almost absent in organic elements. It won't be wrong if we mention this form as an intrinsically human. Living and studying in The Hague city centre you cannot ignore excessive repetition of this form, mainly in modern constructions or in some residential block (that you can find them across the Netherlands). The attractive and intriguing city hall building in the Hague, where you can see the excessive repetition of this shape everywhere... and yet be amazed by their sublimity meanwhile you know there is devastating boredom within this soulless form.
