Politics, History, present and future Iran, 

Iranians always have been proud of their politeness and customs of socialising. Within the passage of time, through centuries and decades, this behaviour has turned and exploited against people. By wits who had the will to dominate and rule. What has been considered the beauty of interpersonal contact has become a tool to fool people and still is. In this new series, I have used Iranian style patterning to present paradoxes. geometric shapes decorated with beautiful colours which are based on words and idioms. But these words or idioms are reflecting the dark side of historical events and ignorance. Calligraphy and patterning are historically part of Iranian art and design. I bring together these techniques and collages on found photographs from Iran-related political scene. I invite the spectator to take a better look, to have an eye for details to see the truth that is images are based on.
